Some manufactures offer a wet look that doesn’t the concrete but gives it a high gloss finish, and other manufacturers offer a wet look that darkens the concrete to make it look wet and give it a high gloss finish. For this reason, if you are looking for a wet look sealer, it is always best to contact the manufacturer first if you are unsure which their product does. Some companies, like the Armor AR350, clearly post their before and after photos, but others rely strictly on stock images that can be misleading to consumers.

The explanation as to why is fairly simple. The BEHR wet look sealer is not a true acrylic sealer – it is an acrylic latex sealer. Anything contain latex will function like a paint.
